WARREN COUNTY, N.Y. (Aug. 1, 2007) - Warren County Tourism and Stewart's Shops today unveiled the winner of the Name-the-Ice-Cream contest at the Bay Road Stewart's in Queensbury. Scotia resident Barbara Watson's entry, "32-Mile Smile," was chosen from 464 suggested names from 15 states, including one all the way from Issaquah, Washington.

The contest, created to promote the Lake George Area, ran from June 25 through July 15. Warren County residents and visitors were encouraged to submit entries online at VisitLakeGeorge.com or by mailing in entry forms available at all 14 Warren County Stewart's Shops.

"We had a lot of very creative entries, but we chose 32-Mile Smile because of the association with our tagline, "Bet'cha we can make you smile!," said Kate Johnson, director of Warren County Tourism. "The 32-mile Lake George definitely elicits miles of smiles for all who visit it."

32-Mile Smile, consisting of vanilla ice cream with chocolate swirl and chocolate-covered almonds, will be available at the dipping counters in all Warren County Stewart's Shops throughout August.
