Challenging obstacles stand in the way of the most experienced putters, while lush greens and quirky features make it easy and fun for young golfers. A game of mini golf is an essential part of any family vacation, so pick a course from the list below or take a swing at all of them!  


Pirate’s Cove

Avast ye hearties! Challenge your crew to a round or two of swashbuckling fun at Pirate’s Cove. With locations in Lake George and Queensbury, each Pirate’s Cove course has it own unique storyline and obstacles.

Follow along with the Legend of Pirate’s Cove in Lake George while learning some pirate facts, and try not to sink your golf ball in the “seawater” hazards.

Queensbury offers two 18-hole courses. Set sail on Blackbeard’s Course and climb aboard his ship for hole #5. Putt through Captain’s Course and the caves of buried treasure – keep an eye out for the pirates that guard it. Do you dare to walk the plank and tackle the 36-hole challenge for a discounted rate?

Goony Golf

It’s the Gooniest! Goony Golf is a storybook adventure full of whacky characters and bright blue waterfalls. From wacky statues like Cinderella’s pumpkin carriage and Humpty Dumpty sitting on his wall, to out-of-the-box holes like giant sweets in Candyland – kids will love exploring this course that is a Lake George classic. Stop by to play a round and congratulate them on over 50 years in business!


Bon’s Ice Cream & Adirondack Miniature Golf

Lake Luzerne

Get a crash-course on the Adirondack experience and the region’s history through a round of mini golf at Bon’s, with artifacts like a wagon purchased from Frontier Town, wood carvings of native wildlife, and obstacles like the quintessential campfire. The back nine is positioned around a waterfall and a fishing pond, with hole #18 dropping your ball into a wishing well. Don’t forget to grab an ice cream cone after playing!

Fun Fact: Bon’s Adirondack Miniature Golf, built in 1994, was the first-ever ADA accessible mini golf course in the United States.

Lake George

Around the World in 18 holes! Maneuver around world-famous landmarks or putt cross-country with the two different courses at this mini golf spot. Take a trip to the Pyramids of Giza, the Taj Mahal, and the Australian Outback. Or stay in the U.S.A. and visit California’s Golden Gate Bridge, Kentucky’s Churchill Downs, and New York City’s subway. Located right on Beach Road in the Lake George Village, Around the World is within walking distance to the main strip and offers clear views of the steamboats cruising around the lake as you play.

Gold Rush Adventure Golf

Queensbury

Gold Rush Adventure Golf at The Fun Spot is a challenging mining-themed adventure for mini golfers of any age. This landscaped, multi-level course is all connected by its water hazards, including a Koi pond at hole #1 where you can feed the fish. The fairways lead you to an interactive minecart, into two caves, past multiple waterfalls, and over a wobbly bridge with designated “Picture Spots” along the way. For a fun-filled day, try out other activities at The Fun Spot like roller skating, laser tag, and go karts.


Lumberjack Pass

Lake George

Modeled after real golf courses, Lumberjack Pass is on an acre of landscaped grounds complete with undulations, water hazards, and sand traps. A babbling brook, rushing waterfall, and a number of fountains provide a relaxing soundtrack to your game of mini golf, and the beautifully maintained greens are perfect to practice your putt on. Better yet, every player is rewarded with a free soft serve ice cream from Fore! with each paid admission.
