It's a day to enjoy the Queen of the American Lakes!

Registration opens April 24th!

Swimmers take to the beautiful water of Lake George in the Southern Adirondacks of Upstate New York. The start is in-water and follows a course of out-and-back style loop.

The race schedule:

  • 10K - The course closes at 12pm. Swimmers not on their 4th lap by 11:00am, will not be allowed to finish.  
    • 6:45 - 7:10am - Check-in/Swim warm-up
    • 7:20am - Pre-race meeting
    • 7:45am - Start
  • 2.5K - Swimmers will have 1 hour and 15 minutes to complete. 
    • 6:45 - 7:10 a.m. - Check-in /Swim warm-up
      7:20 a.m. - Pre-race meeting
      7:55 a.m. - Start
  • 5K - Swimmers will have 2.5 hours to complete. 
    • 8:30 - 9 a.m. - Check-in / swim warm-up
      9:10 a.m. - Pre-race meeting
      9:25 a.m. - Start

There will be two categories: Category 1 - Non-wetsuit and Category 2 - Wetsuit

Evidence of completing a swim of two thirds the race distance you've chosen, must be shown when you register for the event. Date, venue distance, and time should be listed. This is to ensure that you are able to comfortably finish the race.

Top 3 female and male age-group winners receive certificates. The ceremony for the 2.5k takes place at 9:30am at the beach. The ceremony for the 5k and 10k will take place at 11:30am at the beach, times are subject to change.

The water temperature is generally 70-73 degrees.

We will have a comprehensive safety plan in place that includes general land and water safety for swimmers and volunteers but also COVID related safety measures and requirements for everyone. More coming soon.
